The Club is fortunate to have a choice of OO Gauge Layouts at present, they are different sizes and styles, with a large 4 track Oval Layout for running both DC and DCC Locomotives, Members find this very useful for running in and testing and it has the ability to host multiple DCC users at the same time via an Arduino based control system.
The second smaller oval layout is primarily for running in and testing of new or re-built locos, it’s self contained to one board and needs the minimum of setting up time, and has proved to be more useful than some people initially realised.
The Club Meeting Room enables both of them to be set up at the same time with ample operational area for train drivers to do their thing.
If you have any questions relating to the layouts and what to run on them please feel free to contact either Martyn Feneley on martyn@thewmrc.co.uk or Track Electric Supervisor Tom O’Hara on tom@thewmrc.co.uk alternatively you could pop into the club on any Wednesday Club Night where you will generally find them attending to the Clubs Layout.
