A new venture for us this year will be the introduction of a series of Railway themed Film Nights, it is anticipated that these will be open to members and non members alike with a price incentive for members. The subject matter of these evenings will be primarily Railway based, containing a good selection of local history of the Lincolnshire Railways, as well as a detailed look at some national points of interest and railway items of historical interest.<\/p>\n
There will also be a series of insights of what it was like to drive a series of Iconic Diesel Locomotives, courtesy of member Bryan Gray who (lucky man !!) once drove the real things as his day job. Bryan is a valuable source of information to us modellers as he remembers in detail just what locomotives pulled what loads and with what wagons and carriages in a specific period so a valuable resource is there waiting to be untapped.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
